Measure from the top of the shoulder, and place the measuring tape diagonally to the center of your chest, where you want the opening of the blouse to end.
Make sure to wear a good fitting bra for accurate sizing. Measure above the fullest part of the bust.
It is important to not squeeze tightly on measuring tape, simply snug for accuracy.
Sit upright on a firm chair, feet flat on the floor, and measure from the waist down to the seat of the chair.
To help you identify your waist; place your hands on the smallest part of your torso.
Use scotch tape, and wrap a piece around your waist.
With the measuring tape, measure your waist on top of the scotch tape.
Measure snug (not tight/not loose - just right).
Measure down the spine, from the lump on top of the spine in line with the shoulder, to the waist (stop at the waist tape).
Measure from the top of the waistband (see 'Waist') to the hemline (lower edge of the skirt)/slightly above the knee.
